Short answer: a Google Ads expert in Nepal should be able to take an account you already pay for, show you where the money is leaking, and lower your cost per lead without lowering lead quality. The two paid search results published on this site did exactly that: cost per lead down 40% at unchanged spend and cost per acquisition down about 46% in 90 days. Both come from engagements I worked on, some as part of an agency team, and both are stated with baselines and timeframes so you can judge them rather than admire them.

What a Google Ads expert actually does

Most Nepali accounts I look at share the same three faults: broad match with no negative keywords, one campaign for every service and every city, and conversion tracking that counts page views as leads. A bigger budget fixes none of these. The job is structural.

  1. Make the account measurable first. Calls, forms and WhatsApp clicks tracked as separate conversions in Google Ads and GA4, checked against your own lead sheet. If the numbers don't reconcile, optimisation is guesswork.
  2. Reorganise around intent. Each programme, service and destination gets its own ad group, so someone searching for MBBS in Bangladesh never sees an ad about IT courses in Australia.
  3. Cut the waste before scaling. Search term reports, negatives, location and schedule bids.
  4. Fix the landing page. The ad and the page have to say the same thing, and the contact path has to be fast. Once the account is clean, the landing page work is where the cost per acquisition gains come from.

Search, Shopping, YouTube and Display: what I run, and why not Performance Max

A Google Ads expert should name the campaign types and say which ones fit a Nepali business, because the wrong type spends the budget on the wrong people.

Campaign typeWhen it fits in NepalWhen it does not
SearchAlmost always first. People typing the product or service and a city are the cheapest leads you will buy. When nobody searches for what you sell yet; then Meta or content comes first.
ShoppingOnline stores with a product feed, a working payment route and prices in NPR.Stores without a feed or with a checkout that fails on Nepali cards.
YouTubeEducation, property and products that need a demonstration, with a landing page that converts.Lead generation on a small budget; views are cheap, enquiries are not.
Display and remarketingBringing back people who already visited and did not enquire.Cold reach; most of the budget goes to accidental clicks.
Performance MaxRarely. It hides where the money went, which is the one thing a small account cannot afford.Any account where you need to know which search brought the lead.

How to check my Google Ads work

Start with a Google Ads account audit. I read the search terms, the conversion setup and the landing pages, and you get the findings in writing whether or not you hire me.

AccountBeforeAfterPeriod
Education consultancyNPR 3,500 per lead at NPR 300,000 monthly spendNPR 2,100 per lead (−40%), lead volume roughly doubled, spend unchangedSteady-spend comparison
Home servicesNPR 4,722 per acquisitionNPR 2,571 per acquisition (−46%)90 days

Holding spend steady in the education account matters: it isolates the efficiency gain instead of reporting lead growth that a bigger budget would have bought anyway. Both results were measured in conversion data and the client's own records. Each describes one account under particular conditions, not a market benchmark. The full method, including what is and isn't published and who did what, is in the case studies article. What's different about Google Ads in Nepal

  • Payment and billing. Card and currency friction still decides who can run ads at all. An expert should know the working options before the strategy conversation starts.
  • Search volume is thin outside Kathmandu. Exact match campaigns for Pokhara or Biratnagar often can't spend their budget. Location layered campaigns with phrase match and tight negatives work better than city by city duplicates.
  • Calls beat forms. For most Nepali service businesses the lead arrives by phone or WhatsApp. If those aren't tracked, the account optimises for the wrong action.
  • Diaspora demand is real. Remittance products, education and property attract searches from Nepalis in Australia, the Gulf and the UK. That's a separate campaign with separate economics, not an afterthought.

How I work on your account

I ask for read only access to at least 90 days of Google Ads and GA4 data before I quote. You get the audit findings whether or not you hire me for the fix. I report by campaign and by lead type, with cost per qualified lead as the headline number, because clicks and impressions aren't what you're paying for. Scope, deliverables and rates are on the Google Ads management page and the pricing page.

What I won't do: promise a cost per lead before seeing the account, run ads without conversion tracking, or hold the ad account in my name. You own the account. I work inside it.

Google Ads management in Kathmandu and the other cities

Most of my ad clients are in Kathmandu, and the Google Ads management in Kathmandu page covers what the capital's click prices mean for a budget. The same account structure works for Pokhara, Biratnagar, Butwal, Chitwan, Birgunj and the other cities I work with; the campaign is geo-targeted, the account stays yours, and the management fee is the same. If you searched for a Google Ads expert near me from any of them, the answer is remote work in your own account with a first meeting in person when it helps.

Questions about paying for clicks in Nepal

How much does it cost to hire a Google Ads expert in Nepal?

Management is separate from ad spend, and both should be on the quote. My management fee sits inside the published tiers: USD 249 (about NPR 34,000) for an account audit with a 30 day plan, USD 899 (about NPR 122,000) for a four week sprint that includes one paid campaign, and USD 1,800 a month (about NPR 245,000) for ongoing work. Ad spend is paid by you, from your own card, to Google. Local retainers in Nepal run from NPR 15,000 a month upward; the Google Ads cost guide has the ranges.

Who is the best Google Ads expert in Nepal?

The one who can show you a result with a baseline and a date, from an account that stayed in the client's name. I publish two: a 40% reduction in cost per lead at unchanged spend and a 46% reduction in cost per acquisition in 90 days, from engagements I worked on, some as part of an agency team, each stated with its baseline and timeframe. Check those, then check the same for anyone else you are considering.

Google Ads expert or PPC expert, is there a difference?

PPC covers paid clicks on any platform; Google Ads is the biggest of them in Nepal. Someone selling PPC in Nepal usually means Google Ads plus Meta, and the questions to ask are the same: who owns the account, how conversions are tracked, and what the management fee is apart from the spend.

Do I need a Google Ads agency in Nepal or one specialist?

One specialist is enough for one account with a clear goal, and you get the person who does the work. An agency makes sense when you run many accounts or need creative production every week. Either way the account, the billing and the conversion data stay in your name.

How much should a Nepali business spend on Google Ads?

Enough to produce conversion data you can learn from, which for most service businesses in Kathmandu means at least NPR 30,000 to 50,000 a month. Below that, the account can't learn. The published pricing benchmark gives current ranges, and I've broken down spend, fees and where the money leaks in what Google Ads costs in Nepal.

Can you guarantee a cost per lead?

No. Cost per lead depends on your market, your offer and your landing page as much as on the account. What I can commit to is a clean, measurable account, a written diagnosis, and honest reporting on whether cost per qualified lead moved.

Do you manage Google Ads for businesses outside Kathmandu?

Yes. The account is managed remotely, and the published home services and education results were delivered without an office visit. Thin search volume outside Kathmandu changes the campaign structure, not whether it can work.

Who owns the ad account?

You do. I work inside an account you own and can revoke at any time. Any provider who insists on holding the account in their own name is creating leverage, not value.
